20 Mins AMRAP of:
400 meter run
Max set of unbroken pullups
Goals: 1:45 splits / 2:00 splits and 11 pullups / 5 pullups
Tips: Pick a run split that is challenging and try to maintain it for the entire workout. Based on that split, get a rough estimate of how many rounds you might complete and then decide how many total pullups you can handle in a single WOD. Due to the excessive amount of pullups possible, top athletes stand to hurt more after this workout than the novice and beginner. In fact, this workout is named after the Director of CrossFit Training, Nicole Carrol, who admits to not being able to do a single pullup for the entire month following her first attempt at this. Go hard, but be smart.
